A REAL-LIFE superhero has turned down six-figure offers for his home-made 1989 Batmobile for hire - so he can continue helping sick children. Batman fanatic Zac Mihajlovic, from Camden, Australia, hand-built his very own street legal version of the car from the 1989 film starring Michael Keaton and Jack Nicholson. And the car has whipped up a reaction wherever it has been seen. Businessmen from across the world, including a Sheik in Dubai, have offered Zac big bucks for the Batmobile. But rather than cash-in on his dream machine, Zac decided to use his powers for good by teaming up with Make-A-Wish Australia, who make dream’s come true for terminally-ill children.
The Batmobile has been one of Rocket League's most popular Premium DLC cars since it first arrived in March 2016. However, with the new Justice League movie headed to theaters on November 17, we felt like we should do a little something extra to celebrate the occasion. And so, on November 14 (the same day we're launching Rocket League on Nintendo Switch), we will also be adding a new piece of content for BOTH new and existing Batmobile DLC owners. Truth be told, you may already be familiar with the new content already, as it had originally debuted as a "trailer-only special effect" in our teaser for the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Car Pack way back when.

....and so do the Dads of said kids ;)
Perseverance, or the ability to stick with something, is critical to success in life, from academics and sports to music and getting around to that presentation for tomorrow’s meeting.
But life is increasingly distracting, especially for kids, with the allure of technology and the ability to access just about any form of entertainment on demand.
So what gives a child grit? Six researchers, building on past studies, designed an experiment to see what makes kids stay on task when presented with the very real-world temptation of an iPad.
Rachel E. White, from Hamilton College, and Emily Prager and Catherine Schaefer from the University of Minnesota, tested four and six-years-olds by giving them a boring computer task and asking them to do it for 10 minutes. They also offered the kids an out: If they got bored, they could play a game on the iPad, located nearby in the testing room.

According to iTunes, Justice League will be available on Digital HD on Tuesday, January 30th. That’s just over two months after Justice League hit theaters last November. The movie struggled at the box office and was pushed out of most theaters last month, which is probably why it’s coming to home video much sooner than typical blockbusters.

One of the worst-kept secrets in the DC Extended Universe is Ben Affleck's interest in departing the films permanently. A recent report by Variety claims that, while Affleck is expected to appear in the upcoming The Flash film, he will exit the DCEU and a new actor would accept the cowl for the Matt Reeves-directed The Batman.
